Talking about mental health isn’t just for a therapy session.
Cornsilk brings peer-based mental health programs to the public through an Indigenous cultural lens in a non-clinical format.
Our goal is to create a healthy, healing, welcoming, responsive, and joyful community that is centered in Indigeneity.
Our work blends elements of Internal Family SystemsSM (IFS) therapy with other healing models, guided by the Council for Indigenous IFS and our community.
We’re a circle of Indigenous & non-Indigenous people who value Indigenous ways and want to support each other’s efforts.

“I liked that it was informal. Everyone was very welcoming. There was some awkwardness, but maybe I should welcome that. I felt like my heart was going to explode before I shared but felt so much lighter afterwards.”
